NEET-UG Paper Leak: CBI Arrests Key Conspirator Karan Bhalla from Dhanbad, Jharkhand
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday arrested Karan Bhalla, identified as a key conspirator in the NEET-UG 2024 paper leak case, from Dhanbad, Jharkhand. This is the seventh arrest made by the central agency as part of its expanding probe into the high-profile examination scam.
Earlier, on Sunday, June 30, the CBI had apprehended Dixit Patel, the owner of a private school in Godhra, Gujarat, over alleged irregularities in the conduct of NEET-UG 2024. Patel, the sixth accused, was taken into custody from his home in Panchmahal district.
